It was built during the 27th century BC to bury the pharaoh Djoser; it was built for him by his vizier Imhotep. The architect and physician Imhotep was the primary architect of the vast funerary complex in the pyramid’s courtyard and the surrounding ceremonial structures.

Dahshur Pyramids.

Dahshur is one of the tourist areas that visitors come to from all over the world because of its many ancient Egyptian monuments. The Pharaoh of Egypt, Sneferu, chose the Dahshur rocky plateau to build his tomb, to rival the tomb of his father, Djoser, the owner of the Saqqara Step Pyramid.
