Pickup time from your hotel in Cairo or Giza is 5:00 AM. We recommend ordering a breakfast box from your hotel due to the early departure. The drive to El Alamein, a distance of 259 km, takes 3 hours. We stop for a coffee break along the way. Arrive in El Alamein at 8:30 AM. The coastal town of El Alamein was the scene of ongoing battles.
►❤ El Alamein Museum
Established in 1965 from battlefield debris, it contains uniforms, weapons, flags, and other war tools. Displays include photographs and battle sites.
►❤ El Alamein War Cemetery
Here, 7,367 men from Britain, New Zealand, Australia, South Africa, Greece, France, India, and Malaysia are buried in single graves, while 11,945 men are buried in separate graves. Behind the cloister are the single graves, each surmounted by a white marker. Approximately 815 soldiers have been identified and their names are inscribed above the graves.
►❤ German War Memorial
The memorial contains the bodies of 4,280 German soldiers. At the entrance, they stand on a magnificent gold mosaic. To the right of the entrance is a chapel where families and friends honor the dead with wreaths, photographs, and memorial ribbons.
►❤ Italian War Memorial
There is a small museum, and in the chapel is an inscription (To 4,800 Italian soldiers, sailors, and airmen, and to the desert and sea that did not return the 38,000 missing). The main memorial overlooks the sea at the top.

►❤ Enjoy the sunset at Lake Fatnas
Fatnas is a small island in the Siwa Lake that can be reached on foot or by bike. It’s a great place to sit and enjoy the sunset. You’ll get a stunning view of the lake with the formation of the Beida and Hamra Mountains in the background to the west. A stroll through the garden reveals a variety of trees, including bananas, dates, and olives.
Dinner will be served at a Siwa restaurant.

►❤ The Temple of Alexander the Great.
also known as the Temple of the Oracle. It is believed that Alexander the Great sought confirmation from the Siwan Oracle that he was the son of Zeus, the Greek god of gods, when he and his entourage arrived in the Siwa Oasis after a long journey through the desert.
►❤ The salt lake.
The salt water lifts you above the surface and makes you float. You don’t need to be a good swimmer. Be careful when swimming and don’t let the water get into your eyes, as it can be quite painful. Choose the crystal lake, of which there are many. But keep looking for the purest one when you can see the bottom. Take a bottle of mineral water to shower after swimming in the lake. Salt lakes have similar salinity to that of the Dead Sea in Jordan. This also means that the lakes have amazing healing properties.
11:00 AM, then proceed to Cleopatra’s Baths, the sun’s spring. It was mentioned by travelers to Siwa, and legend claims that Cleopatra swam here.
►❤ Then proceed to the Temple of Amun.
just 200 meters from the Temple of the Oracle. This temple was built by Pharaoh Nectanebo of the 30th Dynasty. This structure is almost completely destroyed, having been dynamited in 1896 by an Ottoman governor eager to obtain building materials.

At the end, there are five high-quality Lotus Bell tents set within the protective outer walls of the camp. They are equipped with comfortable mattresses, mosquito nets, and double-layered tarpaulins to keep you warm in the summer and cool in the winter!
The Bell tents are set on a Rocket Bell floor heating platform, which can be heated by a wood fire, which warms the tent floor on cold winter nights!
Each tent can comfortably accommodate up to three people, but one or two people can also be accommodated in a tent.
In addition to the bell tents, we also have several Bedouin tents for a traditional local style overnight stay, with minimal noise from the Siwa desert.
Overnight at a desert camp and enjoy a barbecue dinner. This traditional style dinner features a cooking technique called “Abu Mardam,” where food is slowly cooked underground.

Breakfast at the camp at 7:00 AM, then return to Siwa Oasis. Check-in at the hotel.
►❤ Visit Shali Fortress:
Shali Fortress was built on a hill within a protective wall originally breached by a single gate. The maze of mud-brick buildings that housed the fortress served the oasis’s inhabitants for nearly eight centuries. Residents had to live in cramped quarters, sharing their animals, which were herded into the fortress each evening. The huge chunks of salt found throughout the Siwa Oasis were used in the construction of the fortress, helping to strengthen the wall. Unfortunately, rain proved more destructive to the fortress than any human invaders. The fortress was built in the 13th century and served as the center of Siwan life for over 800 years. The fortress’s mosque is still in use today, and many of the houses have been restored, some converted into local guesthouses.
►❤ Then proceed to Jebel al-Mawta (Mount of the Dead).
A conical mountain just over one kilometer north of Shali. Tombs from the 26th, Ptolemaic, and Roman dynasties are carved into the mountainside, and there are four tombs worth seeing at Jebel al-Nadash. The tomb of Si-Amun is the most beautiful in Siwa Oasis. Si-Amun appears to have been a wealthy Egyptian, possibly of Greek origin, but a follower of ancient Egyptian beliefs. The tomb contains images from the Egyptian pantheon, including a magnificent painting of the goddess Nut standing beside a sycamore tree.
Relaxing Half-Day at Ali Khalid Camp
Also known as Mountain Camp, Ali Khalid is located at the foot of Jebel Dakrur, amidst a dense carpet of palm groves. Here, visitors can relax in a garden complete with hammocks, daybeds, and a tree house. There’s also a hot spring and a freshwater plunge pool, so you can alternate between relaxing in a shaded canopy and taking a dip in the refreshing waters. If you’re in the mood for adventure, you can hike up nearby Jebel Dakrur, known for its therapeutic sand baths. The mountaintop is also an excellent spot to enjoy the sunset over Siwa.
►❤ Overnight in Siwa – Ecolodge
After breakfast, head to Cairo, passing through Marsa Matruh for lunch. Discover Marsa Matruh, Egypt’s Mediterranean coast. With its white sandy beaches and crystal-clear waters, many believe Cleopatra herself once bathed in the calm waters of Marsa Matruh.
Lunch will be served in Marsa Matruh at Magdy Seafood Restaurant.
Then return to Cairo. Arrive in Cairo at 8:00 PM.
