Cairo Tour by Coach from Sharm El Sheikh One Day Trip – Code TTNSH – 3

We will pick you up from your hotel in Sharm El Sheikh and travel by comfortable, air-conditioned bus to Cairo. The journey takes approximately 6 to 7 hours. Upon arrival in Cairo, your journey through ancient Egyptian history will begin, including:

The world-famous Egyptian Museum in Tahrir Square. The museum spans two floors and houses 120,000 artifacts from various eras and periods of Egyptian history. The most famous exhibits are the treasures of pharaonic kings and queens, such as the child king Tutankhamun, and the Mummy Room. Finally, visitors can learn more about the art of mummification in ancient Egypt.

We will stop for lunch at an authentic Egyptian restaurant and then take a break to enjoy a delicious buffet lunch at a restaurant with stunning views of the Nile.

We will continue our tour immediately after lunch and visit the Pyramids and the Great Sphinx.

Constructed around 2560 BC. Renowned as one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, it’s hard not to stare in amazement upon arriving at the pyramids and wonder, ‘How were they built? And why?’

Next, we’ll descend to the edge of the plateau, where we’ll see the pyramid of King Khafre, and get your first glimpse of the Great Sphinx. The Great Sphinx of Giza is a mythical creature, composed of a human head and a lion’s body. It stands over 20 meters high and 73 meters long, and is a magnificent sight to behold.

Our final stop, which will take approximately one hour, will be for some shopping. Here, you’ll have the opportunity to purchase authentic and traditional Egyptian souvenirs produced by local artisans. We’ll also spend some time at the Papyrus Institute, where you’ll be given a demonstration of how this famous paper is made.

At the end of the day, our guide will transfer you to the Cairo bus station to catch your bus to Sharm El Sheikh. Upon arrival at the Sharm El Sheikh bus station, our representative will meet you and transfer you back to your hotel.
