Your tour will start when your tour guide pick you up from your hotel in Aswan to begin with a nice felucca ride across the Nile River to Kitchener’s Island (El Nabatat Island).

This motor sailboat journey offers scenic views of the Nile, the Agha Khan Mausoleum perched on the West Bank, and the Tombs of the Nobles. The ride to the island typically takes around 20 minutes, depending on the wind.

Upon arrival, you’ll enter the lush gardens, a 16.8-acre (approximately 6.8 hectares or 18 feddans) oasis. Some tours include a visit to a small botanical museum at the entrance, where you can learn about the history of the gardens and some of its key plant species.

The garden is designed with a network of well-maintained pathways that wind through different sections, creating a chessboard-like pattern with 27 squares. You can take a relaxing walk, immersing yourself in the serene atmosphere and enjoying the diverse plant life.
